Going beyond previous extraction methods

How do others extract CBD?

All previous methods of extracting CBD have significant disadvantages, from damaging the cannabinoids, to being slow and inefficient, to using harmful chemicals. Our proprietary Cellular Deconstruction™ Technology (CDT) directly addresses these shortcomings.

Cold / Hot Pressed

Plant material is squeezed between metal rollers, typically in the open air. This method is inefficient, messy and leaves behind valuable cannabinoids.

ExtractionMethod_0000_Ethanol.jpg

Ethanol

The plant material is flooded with ethanol for a period of time.  Since ethanol is highly attracted to chlorophyl and plant waxes, valuable major and minor cannabinoids are left behind.  This method is slow and inefficient.

CO2

Utilizing extreme temperatures (down to -100F) and intense pressures (up to 1000 psi) to draw extracts from the plant material, this method is slow and damages molecular structures.

Petrochemicals

This method pressurizes and forces noxious chemicals like propane, butane and pentane through the plant material… no thank you!  The process is also inefficient, and can be dangerous.

We realized that plant extraction was ripe for innovation, rethought the entire process and found a BETTER way - by focusing on the PLANT CELL itself – without chemicals, molecular bonding or extreme pressure.

Cellular Deconstruction™ Technology

Go cellular.

We do not use cold or hot pressing, we do not use CO2, we do not use ethanol or petrochemicals.

Our approach is rooted in physics. Our proprietary Cellular Deconstruction™ Technology (CDT) process gently opens the walls of cells, providing access to intact and valuable molecules which we collect and refine. This natural process takes plant-based extracts to a new level, allowing us to achieve greater purity and potency than other processes.
